Give your body some extra love with a fresh aromatic steam from mother nature's beautiful flowers. Steaming is an ancient tradition that helps relax the pelvic muscles and aid in healing many pelvic-related conditions.
Suggested use: bring 8 cups of water to a boil. Add 1/2 cup of steaming herbs to boiling water. Gently simmer for 10-20 minutes, keep covered. Set up a relaxing area for steaming. After the herbs have simmered, turn off the heat and allow the water & herbs to cool. Position the pot below where you will sit or below a steam stool. Disrobe from the waist down and squat or sit comfortably above the basin with your exposed to the steam. The steam should feel warm but not too hot. Wrap yourself up with blankets from the waist down to keep yourself warm and the steam contained. Relax and enjoy the healing benefits for 10-30 minutes. I suggest steaming 1-2 times a month before and after your menstrual cycle. Do not use pelvic steam during pregnancy or if you think you may be pregnant. It is not recommended to use a yoni steam if you have an IUD or during menstruation. Avoid use if you have open wounds.
